GRO^ is a new interpretation of the classic rocking horse. With a simple aesthetic that speaks to adults and with a simple function that speaks to children.
GRO^ is built on Fritz Hansen's knowledge about furniture made of veneers, as well as an idea to create a children's furniture that contains a simple Scandinavian style.
Gro - Rocking horse
GRO^ is not just a piece of furniture, but more a frame that is following the child in the early years of its life. The first step is the crib to the newborns. It is hung un the frame, and allows the opportunity to rock the baby in two axes.
When the child is around 2 years old, you can put up a seat in the frame. This makes a simple rocking horse, thats have a very grafik aestetics.
Rhythm Bike inspired by music
was to design a cool bicycle for a strong female musician.
is inspired by the soft flow and rhythm of music trying to minimize the angular
shapes the traditionally characterize bike design.
and build this bike in Shanghai in collaboration with the Tongji University and
one of the world’s largest bicycle manufactures Forever Bicycles China.
I build the
bike by hand in one week at a dark and dirty workshop at the gigantic Forever
bicycle factory outside of Shanghai. The workers at the factory were all very
sweet and very helpful especially if you offered them cigarettes and chocolate.
Guide dogs, canes and the GPS wayfinder is the most commonly used aids for blind people. The Gren Intelligent blind cane combines all these aids into one product.
Cargo Pal e-scooter
Heavy traffic and pollution is an ever growing problem in larger cities across the globe. The use of small electrical vehicles for logistics and commuting could be a part the solution.
The design of the Cargo Pal was inspired by a Danish delivery bike called a “Long John”. The idea was to create a cargo/delivery scooter for urban environments, including narrow alleyways and sharp corners.
The design consists of iconic circular shapes to give it both classic and friendly appearance.
Cargo Pal is designed for both cargo as well as a personal transport vehicle to cater for small families in the city The two spherical “pods” with hub-engines inside provides propulsion. The axles that hold the wheels are able to turn 360 degrees independently, giving Cargo Pal incredible manoeuvrability.
The vehicle is fitted with hydraulic dampers, so you are able to adjust the ride height and go over curbs and speed bumps.
The batteries are located at the bottom of the cargo-area to give Cargo Pal optimal balance. To further increase the balance, the scooter has a electronic gyroscope, similar to the technology used in current day Segways.
Lionceau Peugeot 2025
The task was to design an electrical car based on Etrans knowledge of Danish drivers and their assumptions about electrical cars, as well as the task of combining Peugeot design-philosophy into a design that is appealing to both men and women.
The goal was to design a modern electric car with a link to the design history from Peugeot and mix it with new elements as well.
The main inspiration was the Peugeot 202 and shapes and elements from lion cubs that all so named the car Lionceau (young lion)
